Blushers are not only made to give healthy color to your cheeks but also it helps to make your facial shape look perfect. You can take a full round blush for easy application.
You should choose a blusher that matches your skin undertone(you can read my post on skin undertone). You can use lighter color in the day time and darker color in evening time.
Those who have round face should(which is long as much as it is wide) apply blusher starting from below the cheek bones and blend it well till where your ear starts. This will make your face look longer.Use a bit darker shade than your skin tone to make your face look more longer.
If you have oblong face(longer than the wideness of face) and to make it look smaller, then apply blusher on your cheek bones, work it up and blend it well till your hair line.
If you have square shaped face then also apply blusher on your cheek bones to make it look round shaped.Blend it well.
If you have oval shaped face then apply blusher at both the up and down of your cheeks and blend it well in upward strokes.
To make your blush stay longer use powder blush on cream blush. If you do not have cream blush use your blush on your primer or moisturizer. A way to make natural blush is to rub beet root after applying moisturizer.
