  To make your eyes appear larger extend your kajal and eye liner slightly more than where your eye lids ends. Try to use light colored eye makeup if you want to make it look larger.You can use a white or off-white colored eye pencil in both the corners of your eyes where the inner and upper eye lids meet and thinly line the inside of the eye lashes(the edge between your eye and lashes).Make sure you do not over do the white eye liner or it may look very unnatural.Apply light colored eyeshadow or highlighter on your eye brow bones by applying and blending it well.Very carefully apply white mascara at the outer edges of your lashes to make your eyes look big and bright.Just take some white colored mascara on your finger and apply at the outer edges of the eye lashes.You can get two-step mascara in market in which you can get one white colored and one black colored mascara(the white one is applied before the black one),you can use the white colored mascara to just the outer edges of your lashes. The white mascara on the edges of your lashes is good for using in festivals and occasions rather than using regularly.Do not forget to apply voluming mascara.
   You can use white eye liner on your water line,but this may look unnatural.

The right way to do makeup is by considering your skin undertone,rather than your skin tone,if you do not want to look like a clown.Skin tone refers to the actual color of your skin.Skin tone can be fair,olive,medium or dark.Skin undertone can be cool,warm or neutral.Any of these undertones can found in any type of skin tone,it can be fair or darkest skin tone or anything in between.Skin undertones are the colors that lie beneath your skin.Your skin tone may change but your undertone never changes.

You have cool undertone if you have more pinkish or bluish tone to your skin.You have warm skin tone if you have more yellowish tone to your skin.And you have neutral undertone if you have equal amount of yellow or pinkish undertone to your skin.Likewise,people who have olive complexion can either have cool or warm undertone,or both.As the name suggests "undertone" is the color that lies beneath our skin tone.
WAYS TO KNOW YOUR SKIN UNDERTONE: Before doing the experiments It is important to remove your makeup and to cover your hair with a white cloth if you colored your hair.Some correct and easy way to know your skin undertone are-
  1) Take a mirror and look carefully to your face under sunlight.If you have more bluish or pinkish tone to your skin,then you have cool undertone.If you see more yellowish tone then you have warm undertone.If both pink/blue and yellowish tone are in equal proportion then you have neutral undertone.
2) If rosy and mauve color is in harmony with your skin tone then you have cool undertone.If colors such as orange and peach appears to be in harmony with your skin tone,then you have warm skin tone.
  3)If silver jewelery compliments your complexion then you have cool undertone and if gold jwellery compliments your complexion then you have warm undertone.
The above three ways are the best ways to know your skin undertone.There are many other ways,such as- if the veins of your wrist appears green then you probably have warm undertone and if it appears to be grey then you probably have cool undertone.But the other ways of knowing your skin undertone may give you a wrong indication.So it is best to follow the three ways that are given above.
HOW TO DO MAKEUP ACCORDING TO YOUR SKIN UNDERTONE: Now as you know your skin undertone,do makeup according to it.
If you have cool undertone,then colors such as roses,pinks,violets,lavenders,grapes and wines will look good on you. Always buy a foundation that has cool undertone.Also use lipsticks,eye shadows,hair color that has any of the above colors or has cool undertone.Black mascara will also look good on you.
If you have neutral undertone,then colors such as corals,reds,peaches,corals,oranges,brownish reds,apricots,mauves,berries,all shades of red except bluish red will look good on you.
If you have warm undertone,then colors such as corals,beige,browns,mochas,spices and golds will look good on you.Brown mascara will look good on you.
Not only your makeup but also wear jewelery,dresses according to the undertone of your skin,also color your hair accordingly.

It is really hard to make our makeup stay longer specially in summer when we always try to avoid makeup due to excessive sweating and smudging of makeup.Here are given some tricks and tips to make yout makeup stay longer:
To make your make stay longer use a primer or moisturizer before you apply your makeup. If you have oily skin then rub ice on your skin and then dab astringent before applying your makeup,to make it stay longer and oil free.
To make your eye shadow stay longer slightly wet your eye shadow applier in water and then apply your eye shadow with it.This will also make your eye shadow look prominent.
To make your blusher stay longer use cream blush before applying powder blush.You can make your own cream blush by mixing little powder blush with a lotion.
To make your lipstick stay longer apply cream blush on your lips before applying lipstick. Another way to make your lipstick stay longer is to apply foundation on your lips,then lip liner matching your lipstick all over your lips,then your lipstick,then apply powder on your lips and at last reapply your lipstick.
Applying compact after your makeup makes your makeup stay longer.
Apply compact or eye shadow on your eye lids and under eyes before applying mascara or eye liner to make it stay smudge free for longer.
To make your lip gloss stay longer apply foundation,then lip liner all over your lips that matches your lip gloss and at last your lip gloss.

My expectations: I wanted the blush to last longer,totally matte and non-acnegenic.
My experience: The color is very light pink which is made for cool undertoned people,I think it will mostly suit people who have pale skin.It is very true to most of its claims-oil free,doesn't clogs pores as it never causes acne,the color doesn't change,silky smooth texture that blends easily and wears easily.
  The color doesn't change but it does fades very easily and quickly.It stays for about 1-2 hours if used on makeup base or moisturizer.The deeper shades may stay longer.The shade berry sorbet is very light colored.The most disappointing fact for me is that it contains many tiny shimmers which stops me from using it always.The shimmers are very noticeable from close view.Most of the blushes contains shimmers in them,and maybelline is not an exception.Hope they will soon make some products with no shimmers in them.However the shimmers are very very tiny,they are several.
The price is very cheap if compared to branded blushes.Rs. 209 for 4.5g.
Will I recommend? both yes and no.If you want a cheap blush you can try this,no if you hate shimmers or short staying blushes.
will I buy this again? I may try one darker shade but not this shade again.If I get any other matte and cheap shimmer I may never buy this again.

Revlon beyond natural foundation

 

My expectations: well my expectations were many,as I had to spend much extra money than I usually pay for my foundations.Maybelline foundation was causing acne when used without a primer,so I wanted this foundation to be non-comedogenic,natural looking and to last longer than my previous foundation.
My experience: This is a decent foundation,does no miracles but quite good.When I squeeze it ut it comes as a white thick liquid with very tiny black beads.As soon as I begin to blend it changes its color.I need to blend it for some time until the whiteness of it vanishes and transforms to match my exact skin tone.

I bought the shade "light pale".If you use a lot extra than you need it remains a bit white unless you blend it properly with a sponge,so blending takes time if you do not use a blending sponge.It gives me a natural look when blended properly.It lasts quite long but it tends to make skin oily so thats a problems for those who have oily skin.When blended properly it gives a natural looking,glowing skin that I love.
The foundation will not make any major changes to your skin.This is a foundation is for flawless skin,that gives a very natural look.
It contains fruit extracts of avocado,watermelon and apple.
This is super light textured unlike most foundations that are usually heavy.Finding a foundation that is super light textured like this is really a tough job.
Through out the day i need to apply my compact powder about two times to keep my face oil free.Though it adds oil to my already oily skin but it is super light textured,so I never faced major acne problem after using this foundation.
Will I buy this again? Nope.The price is very high and it isn't up-to the level of its price.Not a perfect foundation for oily skin.However I may buy this again to use during winter season.I like its super light texture.
Will I recommend this product? Both yes and no.This is a good foundation for all skin types during winter season.people with oily or combination will find problem to use it during summer.This is a perfect fountation for people who have dry skin.

My mother's experience: My mom has got dry skin,so she uses this product which is made for dry skin.She finds it quite perfect to use during indian summer weather.This product however is very light textured,it contains quite large amount of oil in it because of which people who have oily skin cannot use this product.Due to its very light texture people with dry skin would not face much difficulty to use it during summer months.

Nivea soft is light textured moisturizer

It gives a light cooling sensation when applied on skin.I think it contains large amount of water which can make a good choice for people with dehydrated skin.My mother uses it every night,and wakes up with softer skin(as she says).she never uses any other wrinkle cream,nivea creams are her favorite and she always complains if given any other cream.she also loves the faint and sweet smell of it.She uses this also because she finds this is the best cream available at cheap price.She even uses the product before going out.One can mix it with his/her foundation to get moisturized and glowy look. This product should suit people with dry sensitive skin also because it is very mild.Any one can use this moisturizer on their body.This can also be used after shaving or waxing to massage on skin as it has a light cooling sensation and it is non-irriating.
will my mother recommend this product?yes if you have dry skin and you want a very light textured cream.
